Gucci Mane's Brother Says He Was Not Invited to Wedding
Apparently, neither was their mother.
Earlier this week (October 17th), Gucci Mane finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka’oir, and following the couple’s highly-publicized nuptials, the headlines haven’t stopped coming.
Notably, artist Khia came forward alleging that the 32-year old Ka’oir had three children that she left behind in Jamaica to begin a new life with Gucci. Keyshia since denounced the claims on Twitter.
Now, it’s Gucci Mane who is under scrutiny has his brother, Nate, has since revealed that neither he or the brothers’ mother, Vicky, were invited to the wedding.
“He didn’t let me go to the wedding, but I’m happy for him,” Nate revealed in an interview with TMZ. “He went through hell to get to where he’s at now. Me [and] my mom didn’t go. We still reflected on it. That’s just another chapter we have to close in our life. I’m glad he ain’t in prison. He’s out doing what he’s doing; getting where he’s trying to go.”
It was just shy of a year ago that Gucci, born Radric Davis, popped the question at a Hawks game in his hometown of Atlanta. Since then, the lavish wedding has been in planning with many of the industry’s top names in attendance, the people at home watching via a television broadcast, and Gucci’s other brother,Duke, serving as best man.
“I feel real bad Rad didn’t invite me to his wedding. I really wanted to be for him. As a brother…to support you, guide you, whatever you need me to do,” Gucci’s youngest brother went on to add. “For me not to be invited, I don’t know how to feel.”
He went on to reveal that his mother was just as hurt and confused by the lack of an invite, and used the opportunity to send a warning toward Ka’oir.
“She didn’t get invited either. It’s hard cause I don’t know. She don’t know. For her to see her kids get married. That’s a dream she wanted to see come true. ...At least have your mother there. A man don’t care for his mother how can he care for you?”
